US-based cybersecurity firm ziggiz has announced the launch of press.ziggiz.ai, a dedicated press room platform designed to centralize company announcements and provide journalists and stakeholders with direct access to verified information.
The new platform addresses a specific challenge the company identified when an investor struggled to locate important company announcements buried in social media feeds. The incident highlighted how critical information was getting lost in the noise of LinkedIn posts and blog content.
"We realized it's time," said Dr. George Webster, CEO and founder of ziggiz. "LinkedIn and blogs are good but get lost in noise. This gives us a place for news."
The press room launch reflects ziggiz's technical philosophy applied to corporate communications. Just as the company advocates for proper data structure and centralization in security operations, it now applies the same principles to information dissemination.
Different Data Pipelines for Different Audiences
ziggiz has created distinct communication channels for different stakeholder groups. Social media remains focused on customers and influencers with personal, relatable content. The press room serves journalists and formal stakeholders who require clean, structured information.
"Press releases take a certain form," Webster explained. "The audience is less likely to be a customer or influencer directly. This allows us to keep clean, to the point PR content in one place to help out that audience while keeping our social outreach just that: social."
The company filters out personal style and relatable content when moving from social channels to press releases, maintaining what it calls "high-fidelity" communication appropriate for each audience.
Proactive Approach to Information Control
While ziggiz has not yet faced misinformation challenges, the company is taking preventive measures. The press room will serve as the authoritative source for company announcements, reducing the potential for miscommunication as the company scales.
"So far that isn't a problem but we don't want to let that happen," Webster said, acknowledging the cybersecurity industry's ongoing struggles with vendor claims and security theater.
The platform launch signals ziggiz's growth trajectory and increasing visibility in the cybersecurity sector. By establishing centralized media infrastructure, the company demonstrates its commitment to transparency and professional media relations.
