Zigguratum, Inc. (ziggiz) Secures $3.5 Million ARPA-H Phase IIb Contract to Advance Commercial Security Platform and Federal Compliance Posture

Ryan Faircloth

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Zigguratum, Inc., operating as ziggiz, has been awarded a Phase IIb Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), valued at $3,499,991 over a two-year period of performance. The contract funds continued development of the ziggiz platform for identity and asset data enrichment, specifically to meet CMMC and FedRAMP High compliance requirements for federal customers.

ARPA-H first funded ziggiz in September 2024 through a Phase I SBIR contract to develop and validate the platform's core technology. That validation held up. The Phase IIb award funds a single focused objective: hardening an already-commercial platform to meet the security and compliance requirements of federal environments. CMMC and FedRAMP High set the bar for what government customers can trust — this contract is how ziggiz clears it.

"ziggiz is already working for commercial customers. This contract is about meeting the federal government where its requirements are — CMMC and FedRAMP High exist for a reason, and clearing them is how you earn the right to operate in those environments," said Dr. George Webster, Co-Founder and CEO of ziggiz.

"ziggiz is a proven analytic platform handling identity and asset data at scale. This contract is about earning the federal compliance posture that government agencies require before they'll trust any platform with their most sensitive data. Security, compliance, and trust aren't separate goals. They're the same goal," said Ryan Faircloth, Head of Product at ziggiz.

ARPA-H's Small Business Program funds transformational health-relevant technologies through a competitive, milestone-driven structure, with Phase II and Phase IIb awards reaching up to $3.5 million. This award adds to ziggiz's existing base of independent technical validation, which includes funding from DARPA and selection into Databricks' inaugural AI Accelerator Program and Palantir's startup fellowship program.
